1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DBC services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By using DBC, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

4. Service Description

DBC provides digital business card creation, management, and sharing services. Our services include:

• Digital business card templates and customization tools
• QR code generation for easy sharing
• Analytics and tracking features
• Contact management and CRM integration
• Cloud storage for your digital cards

5. Subscription and Payment

5.1 Pricing

We offer both free and paid subscription plans. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

5.2 Payment Terms

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• You authorize us to charge your payment method automatically
• Failure to pay may result in service suspension or termination

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial periods.

6. User Content and Conduct

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to DBC. By uploading content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display your content solely to provide our services.

6.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or compromise our services
• Use our services for spam or unsolicited marketing
• Scrape, crawl, or collect data without permission
• Resell or redistribute our services without authorization

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Rights

All rights, title, and interest in DBC services, including software, designs, logos, and trademarks, are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer our services.

7.2 Feedback

If you provide feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation or compensation to you.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using our services, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Third-Party Services

Our services may integrate with third-party platforms. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.

10. Disclaimers and Limitations

10.1 Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable services but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

10.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DBC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

10.3 Maximum Liability

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DBC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through our services. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination:

• Your right to use our services immediately ceases
• We may delete your account and data after a reasonable period
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

14. Governing Law and Disputes

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ethiopia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

15. General Provisions

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DBC.

15.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

15.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.

15.4 Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
